• A pull out from a mainstream or a regular school environment where the child is given remedial help and sent back to the mainstream school where he or she can appear for the State Board or CBSE Board Examinations.

Sangamitra is an early intervention Centre offering various learning programs between the age group of 8 months to 12 years. Specialised in therapies for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorders, Downs’ Syndrome, and Specific Learning difficulties.

Started by Dr. Nandini Mundkur, a renowned Developmental Paediatrician. She has over three decades of experience of working in the field of child development and disabilities. She leads the team of compassionate and capable therapists and special educators at Sangamitra.

Socio Emotional learning Program

Ever thought that emotional health is as important as physical health?

Ever wondered about the gamut of feelings and emotions that children go through?

Sangamitra presents to you the emotional wellbeing program for children.

• The Socio-emotional learning program helps in building a strong, positive, communicative culture and climate with help of plush dolls
• At Sangamitra we use the KIMOCHI dolls to help children learn to take turns, understand, regulate and deal appropriately with emotions
• This 18-20 week program includes interactive activities through which children are taught to interact with peers, engage in meaningful relationships and become independent in decision making
• As a result the children develop a positive self-image, are better able to understand others’ perspectives and become emotionally intelligent individuals in the community
